I have been busy setting up a special area on the court to make HYROX type training easy accessible to you all

I have moved the ski machine and rower onto the court area. And also purchased new kettlebells, new sled, new sandbags and new wall ball.

I got Mitch Evans to design a wall for the balls to be thrown at.

So, it’s all"m happening!!!!

What is Hyrox?

It is a series of functional exercises with short runs in between.

Exercise are – Rower - Ski Machine – Lunges - Sledge – pull and push

Wall ball throws - Burpee and broad jumps - Farmer dumbbells carry

For all the above there is set weights and distance for competition but we will offer lighter weights and less distance to ease you into it.  The competition side is very strict but we can modify this to suit everyone.

What does Hyrox training involve?

  • Running: Build up your cardio with long runs at an easy pace, and running intervals

  • Functional workouts: Learn the movement standards and techniques that work best for you

  • Strength training: Incorporate exercises that work your core, glutes, quads, calves, hamstrings, and deltoids

Will you lose weight, tone up and get fitter?

I love this whole concept of cardio and functional training.  I have done lots of research and I do believe it’s the ultimate to assist fat loss, develop muscle and improve fitness.

Will there be classes?

Instructors will introduce parts of Hyrox into their classes and every so often we will put it all together for a challenge.  But once we are affiliated you can grab their training programs from us – free of charge to members.
